Event Objective
The MazeCam Challenge tests a team's ability to remotely navigate a robot through a maze that is physically hidden from the operator. The operator must rely exclusively on the live video feed provided through the organiser's camera and monitoring system. The fastest team to successfully navigate the complete maze and reach the exit wins.

Robot-Specific Rules
- The robot must be wirelessly controlled, subject to the final arena configuration.
- Only one designated operator may control the robot during the run.
- The operator must not have direct visual access to the maze.
- The operator must navigate using only the official live camera feed displayed on the monitor.
- The camera and monitor station will be provided and configured by the organisers.
- The use of unauthorised personal cameras, drones, mirrors, additional video feeds, or external observers is prohibited.

Track & Arena Rules
- The maze will consist of walls, intersections, dead ends, and navigable passages.
- The approximate passage width will be 60–80 cm, subject to final arena design.
- The maze layout will not be revealed to participants before their official run.
- The operator will be positioned in a location from which direct viewing of the maze is prevented.
- The organisers' camera system will provide the authorised live visual feed.

Gameplay Rules
- The robot starts from the designated maze entrance.
- The timer starts when the front-most edge of the robot crosses the starting line.
- The operator must navigate using only the official live camera feed.
- The robot must remain within the maze boundaries.
- The timer stops when the front-most edge of the robot crosses the designated maze exit line.
- If the robot becomes immobilised, a restart may be permitted from the previous checkpoint with a penalty.
- Any attempt to directly view the maze or receive external assistance will result in disqualification.
